Historical Ruins – North of Stone Town
Constructed in 1880 by Sultan Barghash bin Said to house his royal household, this hauntingly beautiful site once featured grand domed baths and ornate carved pillars. Carved columns now rise above ancient fish ponds shaded by baobab trees.
